Our first date, from hello to goodbye: what to expect.
Five steps, a few good manners and no guesswork. Everything a new friend needs to know before our first evening together, in the order it happens.

A first date with someone new shouldn’t feel like a test. I’d much rather you arrive relaxed, so here is exactly how it works, step by step.
1. Send me a little note
Your name or alias, how I should reply, your city and possible dates, and the kind of time you have in mind. That’s plenty to begin. Text, WhatsApp, Signal or Telegram is my preferred way to reply.
Please don’t send ID, financial information, a home address or sensitive documents in your first message, and keep first contact to planning rather than explicit requests.
2. I reply myself
I read every note myself and usually reply within minutes. I’m completely independent: no agency, manager or booking service handles your request.
3. Screening, and a free FaceTime
Screening is required before a first meeting can be confirmed. I review it personally and will explain privately what I need. If you’d like to see me first, FaceTime with me is free. It lets you see it’s really me, and it can help me verify you too.
4. A deposit holds our time
Once screening is complete and I’ve accepted our plans, a 30% reservation deposit holds our time and is applied toward the total (50% for an accepted first-meeting overnight). I share the precise meeting details after screening, acceptance and confirmation, so please don’t arrive at a hotel or venue on the strength of an inquiry alone.
5. On the day
- Arrive freshly showered, with brushed teeth, well groomed and sober. I’ll take the same care.
- Offer only sealed drinks I can open myself.
- Be punctual. Our date begins at the confirmed time; tell me early if you’re delayed.
- No recording, hidden cameras or surprise guests.
- Have the envelope ready on arrival. At an incall, leave it on the table where I can see it; at an outcall, leave it in the bathroom and tell me where it is. Cash or cryptocurrency are strongly preferred for the balance.
Consent is mutual, specific and ongoing. Either of us may set a boundary, change our mind or stop at any time.
How long should a first date be?
New friends begin at 90 minutes, and the Girlfriend Experience begins at two hours. Six hours is an active evening, perhaps dinner, a show or another outing, and doesn’t include sleep. An overnight is up to 12 hours with a natural sleep period. You’ll find every length and city on my Rates page, and the finer points on Before Our Date.
Ready when you are.
Writing to me doesn’t commit you to anything. Nothing is reserved until we’ve talked and I’ve accepted our plans.
